CIB Critical Mission Center directors brief at 1st Annual INTEL Day

The directors of the CIB’s six Critical Mission Centers (CMCs) provided up-to-date briefs on the Russian invasion of Ukraine at Coastal Carolina University’s inaugural INTEL Day. Hosted by the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies and the Edwards College at Coastal, the event took place on Saturday, April 23, 2022. It was attended by over 200 students and community members, and brought together over 30 speakers from several government agencies, private sector firms. A number of CCU INTEL alumni also joined the event as speakers.

The CMC directors joined a dedicated panel entitled “Intelligence Briefing Session on the Russian Invasion of Ukraine”. Speakers were: Scott Boster (Combat Operations on the Ground in Ukraine); Tate Few (Political, Military, and Economic Developments Inside Russia); Abigail McClean (Political, Military, and Economic Developments Inside Ukraine); Amy Yeagley (Developments in the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics); Ana Maria Lankford (Responses to the Russo-Ukrainian War by the US, NATO, and EU); and Kevin Joyce (Responses by NATO Frontline States: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania. The panel presentation was moderated by CIB executive officer Jared Gott.
